Amanda Love – Amanda completed Level One Journey into Power Training with Baron Baptiste in June 2012, Level Two the Sannyasin’s Journey in May 2013, and Art of Assisting in June 2013. She began practicing yoga in 2009 to help stretch and strengthen her running muscles. In January of 2012 she attened a Warrior Weekend through Amazing Yoga in Pittsburgh and feel in love with the Power Vinyasa Flow classes. Originally from Ohiopyle, PA she is an avid runner, biker, and kayaker. She loves teaching others how to strengthen their practice and reach their full potential on and off the mat.
Jared Callahan – Jared’s yoga journey began with his original teacher, Yogi Wade, in 2006. Jared went on to study Baptiste Power Vinyasa Flow completing Baptiste Level One Teacher Training, Level Two, and the Art of Assisting Program. Through a daily practice Jared continues to make self discoveries and achieve personal breakthroughs that give him the ability to lead a more powerful, purposeful way of being. He is committed to empowering you by creating space for personal growth from exploring the edge within yourself, giving you an opportunity to choose how to react to the things that arise on the mat and in the world as he has experienced in his personal practice and life.
Kendra Hogan – Kendra began dabbling around with yoga during college at Stony Brook University. She didn’t fall in love with yoga and her personal practice until stumbling upon Power Yoga Morgantown in September 2012. As a Division I soccer player she was initially drawn to the athleticism, physical intensity & discipline of the Power Vinyasa Flow. However, it didn’t take long until she opened up to the deeper rooted rewards of yoga; the connection of the music of the mind, the power of the body to discover peace from within. Kendra completed her Yoga Teacher Training with Power Yoga Morgantown in October 2015. She finds enjoyment in sharing her love for yoga through teaching and is eager to encourage those around to come to their mats and let yoga work its magic.
Becca Mason – Becca began her yoga practice as a freshman at the WVU rec center. With her background in dance and gymnastics, the poses came naturally and gave her the stress relief she was searching for. After a couple years of inconsistent practice, she explored PoYoMo’s Friday community class and fell in love with the flow. Becca learned to ground down, connect to breath and shine out in the midst of a demanding undergraduate schedule. Following her graduation with a degree in Exercise Physiology, she completed the Love Power School’s Level One Teacher Training in October of 2016. She plans to go through Level Two in April to become fully certified as a Registered Yoga Teacher. Teaching yoga to the community has been an amazing experience. She loves creating a powerful class that challenges you to push pass self-limitations and observe something new. In her spare time, Becca is preparing for graduate school and enjoys snowboarding, knitting and craft beer.
