FullSizeRenderKendra Hogan – Kendra began dabbling around with yoga during college at Stony Brook University. She didn’t fall in love with yoga and her personal practice until stumbling upon Power Yoga Morgantown in September 2012. As a Division I soccer player she was initially drawn to the athleticism, physical intensity & discipline of the Power Vinyasa Flow. However, it didn’t take long until she opened up to the deeper rooted rewards of yoga; the connection of the music of the mind, the power of the body to discover peace from within. Kendra completed her Yoga Teacher Training with Power Yoga Morgantown in October 2015. She finds enjoyment in sharing her love for yoga through teaching and is eager to encourage those around to come to their mats and let yoga work its magic.

Becca Mason – Becca began her yoga practice as a freshman at the WVU rec center. With her background in dance and gymnastics, the poses came naturally and gave her the stress relief she was searching for. After a couple years of inconsistent practice, she explored PoYoMo’s Friday community class and fell in love with the flow. Becca learned to ground down, connect to breath and shine out in the midst of a demanding undergraduate schedule. Following her graduation with a degree in Exercise Physiology, she completed the Love Power School’s Level One Teacher Training in October of 2016. She plans to go through Level Two in April to become fully certified as a Registered Yoga Teacher. Teaching yoga to the community has been an amazing experience. She loves creating a powerful class that challenges you to push pass self-limitations and observe something new. In her spare time, Becca is preparing for graduate school and enjoys snowboarding, knitting and craft beer.
